See My Video for the Island Caretaker position!
For those of you new to this blog and unfamiliar with this global contest, I have been competing for a 6-month job as Island Caretaker on Hamilton Island in Australia. The application process involves a 60-second video on why I am a qualified candidate for the job as well as a few facts on Australia. The competition is absolutely fierce with 34k cut-throat applicants. You can read more about the job on the official site, www.islandreefjob.com. Only the internet gods (such as yourselves) could have catapulted me into the "Elite Top 50" candidates. I appreciate everybody’s vote, but unfortunately I did not make the "Top 50" applicants.
